“This tour definitely exceeded our expectations. It was a 2-hour walking tour (so dress accordingly). We met our very informative guide Dave at the Garden District Book Shop. We walked across the street and 1 block to Lafayette Cemetery #1. Dave educated us on the funeral and tombing process of New Orleans and we walked around this famous cemetery while learning about various tombs and how many bodies can be buried in 1 tomb. The second half of the tour was spent walking around the scenic streets of the Garden District and learning about architecture and history of the many magnificent homes that line the streets. We learned many pieces of information that we would be unable to learn on our own. This tour really was great and highly recommend it.”
