A fun and fascinating look at the Garden District
“We really enjoyed our walking tour of the Garden District. Our tour guide, Dave, was a New Orleans native and full of interesting information about the city’s history. He was very accommodating, even detouring for a bathroom and water break when a number of the tour asked for it.
Come prepared for the humidity with your hats, sunscreen, and lots of water. The tour took about two hours, walking at a very leisurely pace. It was a delight to get out of the French Quarter and see another part of the city. Definitely make some time on your next visit to explore the beautiful homes and City of the Dead that is Lafayette #2 cemetery.”
