“We did 2 walking tours in 1 day – the Garden District in the morning, then the French Quarter in late afternoon. Both were excellent and very different, so glad we squeezed both in! Both tour guides were locals, who could really speak to the culture of the area. There was good historical information put in helpful context. I never felt it was a recitation of dates, but more of storytelling, weaving together events through time. We took the St. Charles streetcar to the Garden District tour, which added to the fun.”
