Review of: Haunted French Quarter Tour

“We love to take ghost tours when we visit new cities. We have been on many ghost tours ranging from cheesy to terrifying. The Haunted French Quarter Tour offered by Historic Tours New Orleans was one of the better tours. In addition to some bone chilling ghost stories and an unexplained apparition appearing in the window of a photo of one of the homes we passed, the history was fascinating. Not only did our guide explain the haunting side of each stop, but she also gave the historical background of the time, people and places that went along with the stories. We learned a lot about New Orleans history that we had never heard, despite having visited New Orleans several times prior to this visit. We also appreciated the length of the tour. The brochure advertises that the tours last approximately 2 hours. Our tour was closer to 2 hours and 15 minutes. They do not skimp on the tour time or number of locations visited on the tours. The guide even stayed after the tour and answered our questions.”
